The Climbers, part 2

Saturday Brian and Luke braved the rain to climb Spencer's Butte. This is a traditional Father/son activity they do every few months. Brian's parents live only about 10 min. from the base of the butte, so after a long day of hiking they go crash at grandpa's house and go hot-tubbing. This time I finally got them to take the camera and get some photos...

Luke's grandma let Luke choose the camoflauge coat. i don't really approve, but he sure fits in when he wears it hiking. Brian was worried that he'd never find him if he got off the path.

And, finally, the beautiful view they got at the top. That's not fog, that's rain you see making everything hazy. The top of the Butte was inside a raincloud. All that climb for this...
